Rashee Rice, a wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, has an arrest warrant issued for him after he was engaged in a hit-and-run accident that left four persons injured. A Lamborghini and a Corvette were two of the fast vehicles that led to “a chain reaction collision” on March 30, according to Dallas, Texas, police.
Among the eight charges against Rice are collision involving serious bodily injury and aggravated assault. According to outside reports, the 23-year-old intends to turn himself in.
Rice, the driver of the Lamborghini, expressed regret for his part in the collision last week, claiming he accepted “full responsibility” and would help the police.
The drivers of both fast automobiles fled the site of the collision, according to police, who spoke to the BBC.
Theodore Knox, 21, is wanted on the same allegations, according to police, and he was operating the Corvette. They have “fully cooperated with law enforcement,” according to his lawyer.
Two drivers in one vehicle were sent to a nearby hospital, while the other two drivers received minor injuries treatment at the site.
Rice participated in the Chiefs’ second straight Super Bowl victory in February after being drafted by the NFL in 2023.
