L’Jarius Sneed Rubbishes Rumors About His Knee and Claims There’s “Nothing Wrong” With It

Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed had only missed one game in the previous two seasons, and that was in Week 18 of last season when the Chiefs rested him and other starters in preparation for their playoff run. Despite this, there was still uncertainty about his health during his first press conference as a Titan on Tuesday.

The Titans didn’t appear to be too concerned by claims that Sneed was having knee problems because he had already signed a four-year contract with them and was moved to them after being awarded a franchise tag in Kansas City.

When questioned about them on Tuesday, Sneed stated that he was not concerned about his knee. He said,

“Ain’t nothing wrong with my knee,”  “I’m fine. I played the whole season. Years before that I played as well. I had a couple problems before, but I’m good right now. Nothing is really wrong with the knee. . . . I know what to do with my knee. I’m coming out here to play ball.”

Over the previous two seasons, Sneed has 220 tackles, 5 interceptions, 30 passes defensed, 3.5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries for the Chiefs. His on-field performance appears to have been unaffected by those stats, and the Titans are counting on more of the same in the years to come.
