Following his bout with Devin Haney in Brooklyn, New York, Ryan Garcia tested positive for illegal substances, which caused controversy in the boxing community.
The Mexican-American boxer has made a strong debut, specifically taking aim at British promoter Eddie Hearn, whom he said was involved in a plot to damage his name and remove him from the professional ranks.

Garcia expressed his disgust for Hearn in an open interview with Boxing Social, labeling him a “scumbag” and accusing him of being a hypocrite.

Curiously, Garcia then shared a picture of himself with Hearn in which they were both grinning, in spite of his remarks. He said,
“I don’t care if they ban me for my whole life because I’m just going to create my own fights and my own leagues,” “I’m not going to walk away from boxing, I’m going to walk away from this boxing, and create my own league and fight on my own show.”
In the event that he is not suspended for doping, Garcia also listed his favorite opponents. He said,
“Errol Spence Jr, or Fondura at 154, I will sleep both of those men, I will sleep both of those men,”
