Shaquille O’Neal Calls Himself the “50 Cent of the NBA” and Promises to Take down Shannon Sharpe

A month ago, the term “Beefing Season” didn’t exist, but it appears that a new period has begun. It’s time for another battle among sports analysts after seeing one of the largest rap beefs in hip-hop history. The big man is prepared to stop the battle between Shaquille O’Neal and Shannon Sharpe, even if it has only been going on for 48 hours. Recently, he claimed to be the “50 Cent of the NBA” and that he will strike Sharpe with his final reaction.

Being in a “battle” with 50 Cent never ends well for his opponents, which is why he is known as a “assassin.”

By drawing comparisons between himself and the Grammy winner, Shaq appears to be sending a message to his rival—in this case, Sharpe. The former NBA player wrote on X,

the @50cent of the nba will make his last response when he wakes up from his nap…..It is was it is ,ain’t no fun when the rabbit got the gun.”

It all started when Shaq was tasked with telling Nikola Jokic that he had won his third league MVP award. However, the big man deviated a little from the plan. He said to Jokic,

“You’re the best player in the league… I wanted you to hear it from me first… I thought SGA [Shai Gilgeous-Alexander] should’ve been the MVP.”

Though many people found Shaq’s remark offensive, Shannon Sharpe was the one who really put it on display. During the “Night Cap” discussion, Unc stated,

“He might never admit this, but I think Shaq see these guys these MVPs have him a little envious… I understand Shaq got four titles, three finals MVPs… but Shaq know deep down that we should be having a discussion for GOAT Shaq.”

When Shaq and Sharpe first heard Shaq “disrespecting” him, the Joker answered coolly, even though Shaq and Sharpe are going crazy about it. Shaq’s social media has gone crazy in response to Sharpe’s remark.
