Boston Celtics Destroy the Mavericks and Win Their 18th NBA Championship As Jayson Tatum Shines

Jayson Tatum had a fantastic game to win the championship. The Boston Celtics are once again the NBA Champions, a development that has looked inevitable for almost the entire postseason. On Monday night, it finally happened.

The Celtics thrashed the Mavericks in Boston to finish the series, and Game 4 in Dallas seemed to be a very, very minor blip on the radar. In the end, the Celtics won 16 out of 19 games in the postseason to win their first championship in sixteen years.

Payton Pritchard and his magical shot

In Game 5, nearly every member of the team made a contribution. Payton Pritchard, a reserve player, was brought on especially to hit a halfcourt shot just before halftime, which he miraculously sank. This was his best play of the game.

Even though the game was already getting out of control at that moment, Pritchard cemented the team’s outstanding performance up until that point.

Jayson Tatum’s performance in Game 5 silences his critics

The top scorer, Jayson Tatum, dominated the stat sheet. His final stats were 9 rebounds, 11 assists, and 31 points. Considering the backlash he has faced, this was undoubtedly a very fulfilling game for him.

Additionally, he received assistance from his teammates. Jaylen Brown was the same effective guy as always. Derrick White and Jrue Holiday were all over the place. And at the age of 38, Al Horford ultimately claimed his first NBA championship. Boston supporters will remember this night for a very long time.
