Former WWE Star 2 Cold Scorpio Charged After Allegedly “Stabbing” a Man in a Parking Lot

According to reports, an ex-WWE wrestler was detained after allegedly being stabbed at a gas station. In professional wrestling, Charles Scaggs was known as 2 Cold Scorpio. He stated that he acted in self-defense.

In Kansas City, Missouri, a Love’s Travel Stop is where the purported incident happened, according to court records that TMZ was able to get. Around 3:40 in the morning, Scaggs, 58, is said to have gotten into a heated argument with a patron at the gas station about a lighted cigarette.

TMZ claims that the former professional wrestler was employed by the store as a security guard. Scaggs entered a not guilty plea to these allegations and is scheduled to appear in court next month. The man allegedly attempted to attack Scaggs in the parking lot, and the former sports entertainer informed police that he stabbed him in self-defense.

When police got on the scene, they allegedly found a man bleeding from his head, chest, legs, stomach, and buttocks, according to TMZ. His injuries were reported to have led to his hospitalization shortly after. The man had reportedly been in and out of consciousness when the police discovered him.

Scaggs and his career in wrestling

Doctors were apparently informed by the purported victim that Scaggs was the one who initiated the altercation. In the 1990s, Scaggs’ career peaked after he made his wrestling debut in 1985.

Among them was the 1990s WCW Tag Team Championship. The professional wrestler went by a number of ring identities, including Flash Funk and 2 Cold Scorpio. He participated in WCW and WWE competitions. Along with these significant victories, Scaggs also held the ECW World Television Championship and the ECW World Tag Team Championship.

Since the early 2000s, the former superstar has not competed in professional wrestling.
