Justin Simmons Talks About Leaving the Denver Broncos

As they cleared house, the Broncos surprised everyone by releasing outstanding safety Justin Simmons. During this purge, they cut TE Chris Manhertz and Russell Wilson and traded WR Jerry Jeudy. Despite having another great season, Simmons has not attracted any suitors. However, he has found peace in it and, with God’s assistance, is moving on with his life.

In an interview with Mike Klis of 9 News, Simmons discussed his fifth annual March of Peace as well as spending his first offseason without the Broncos in eight years. A couple of his old colleagues have attempted to attend his annual gathering, according to the safety.

Justin Simmons Spoke About Leaving Broncos

He hasn’t ignored his body despite spending a lot of time at home. He has been consistently working out and maintaining his physical fitness in case a chance presents itself. Justin is aware that he can find something. All he needs to do is wait patiently and adhere to the Lord’s plan. Simmons said,

“I’m so thankful for this time and his faithfulness as far as slowing me down and not taking things for granted. In the offseason, I’m hanging out with my family and I’ve gotten to go to my daughter’s dance recitals and I’ve gotten to see them grow and I’ve been home a lot more. All while training and staying ready so I don’t have to get ready. Just trying to stay faithful and patient and trust in the Lord’s plan for my family and I’s next step whatever that may be.”

According to Denver Broncos.com, Justin has been involved in the community ever since Denver selected him in the first round. Throughout his eight years, he has made several visits to the University of Colorado Hospital to spend time with patients and their families. Simmons visited cancer patients at UC Hospital as part of the “Fight Like a Bronco” event.
