The drama on the basketball court just got juicier! If you missed the Dallas Mavericks Game 5 loss against the Celtics, then you missed quite the spectacle. The courtside camera caught Luka Doncic, the Mavericks’ star player, doing something that got everyone talking.
During a heated moment in the game, a Celtics fan started heckling Luka from the sidelines. And let’s just say, Luka didn’t take too kindly to it. The camera caught him mouthing off some not-so-nice words towards the fan’s mom. Yikes!
The Mavericks bowed out to the Celtics on Monday night after extending the series last week, with Boston winning 106-88 to oust the Mavs in five games and earn their first championship since the 2008 season and their 18th overall.
Doncic cut a frustrated figure throughout the night and, at one point, clapped back at a fan who told him he was tired, insulting his mother.
For now, all eyes are on Luka Doncic and how he will handle the fallout from this controversial moment. Will he apologize? Will he double down on his actions? Only time will tell. But one thing’s for sure – this game just got a whole lot spicier.
