Kim Kardashian told her mother Kris Jenner on the July 11 episode of The Kardashians that she just tried out a salmon sperm facial as the family was filming promotional material for the upcoming season of their Hulu program. She said,
“I got a salmon sperm facial with salmon sperm injected into my face,”

Kardashian did not disclose if the treatment had any noticeable results, but she is not the only famous person to experiment with this unusual beauty technique.
According to Jennifer Aniston’s disclosure in the August 2023 issue of WSJ Magazine’s Fall Women’s Fashion edition, she also tried the salmon sperm facial. Aniston recalled how she wasn’t initially persuaded that the facial improved the condition of her skin.
Kardashian went one step further with the procedure by choosing injections, which are said to be the most efficient technique to get results. Microneedling is usually used to apply salmon sperm facials, which allows the serum to get deeper into the skin.
Still, not much is known about the application of salmon sperm in skincare products. Before having such procedures, experts advise speaking with a dermatologist or aesthetician to guarantee safety and efficacy according to each patient’s skin type.
Joshua Zeichner, MD, a dermatologist in York City, told PS in August of last year : “Salmon [semen] has been shown to improve skin, hydration, plumpness, texture, and wrinkles,”
“High DNA levels are assumed to be the cause of the effects on the skin. Amino acids, which are essential for skin health because they hydrate and rejuvenate cells, make up DNA.”
