It appears that Joe Burrow is expecting that this season’s Cincinnati Bengals would be an American nightmare for rival defenders.
The Bengals quarterback, who some fans claim to have a strong resemblance to WWE superstar Cody Rhodes, came at training camp sporting a bleached buzzcut. He stated to reporters: “I got bored, that’s about it,”

Whatever the case, Burrow obviously arrived at Bengals camp on Tuesday with the goal of garnering attention. Burrow’s eye-popping hairstyle might serve as a diversion while he tries to recover from the wrist injury that ended his season last year.
Joe Burrow and his struggles with injuries
Last season, Burrow was limited to just 10 games and finished with a career-low 2,309 yards passing with 15 touchdowns against six interceptions.
The Pro Bowler’s rehabilitation has been sluggish because he was sidelined during the summer due to wrist pain and was just recently cleared to resume full contact. Since Burrow’s wrist injury is uncommon for a quarterback, it will be interesting to see how he recovers.
Burrow may be participating in his first full training camp of his career if he is indeed at full health. Burrow suffered an ACL tear in 2021, contended with COVID-19 restrictions in 2020, had an emergency appendectomy in 2022, and missed almost all of camp the previous year due to a calf issue.
Maybe a freshly shaven head and a small amount of bleach will be all Burrow needs to survive a camp.
