Ryan Garcia has been known to express himself openly on social media, including Twitter, where he has posted rants and messages that have attracted significant attention.
Garcia has responded to criticism from fans and media on Twitter, sometimes in a confrontational manner. This has included defending his decision to take a break for mental health reasons and addressing rumors about his career and personal life.
Alongside rants and criticisms, Garcia often posts motivational messages and quotes. He shares his aspirations, dreams, and the hard work he puts into his career, aiming to inspire his followers.
Garcia’s tweets have received mixed reactions. Many fans support his openness and honesty, particularly regarding mental health. However, he has also faced backlash for some of his comments, especially those directed at other fighters and his former team.
Ryan Garcia’s activity on Twitter reflects both his passion for boxing and the personal challenges he faces. His candidness and willingness to speak his mind have kept him in the public eye, for better or worse.
For various reasons, there have been fans and media that have shown support for Garcia despite his social media rants, coming in overweight for the Devin Haney fight and being suspended for taking PEDs.
Garcia was starting to think he was untouchable but it appears he went too far today when he made these comments about black people and George Floyd.

Once the WBC saw these comments, they decided to expel him from their organization.
Exercising my authority as president of the WBC , I am hereby expelling Ryan Garcia from any activity with our organization. We reject any form of discrimination. I fear for Ryan well being as he has declined multiple attempts for our help with mental health and substance abuse pic.twitter.com/pCIOH2am7B

It is diffcult to know exactly what type of power the WBC has in stopping Garcia from fighting and we will have to see if the other sanctioning bodies will follow suit. Garcia is already suspended for a year by the NYSAC for testing positive for Ostarine.
George Floyd’s friend Stephen Jackson states that Garcia should watch his back because violence might find him.
