The official cause of the tragic death of rapper Enchanting, who passed away in June, was an accidental overdose. Enchanting is just another casualty of the opioid pandemic.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed to TMZ that Enchanting overdosed on benzodiazepines and opioids. The synthetic opioid oxycodone belongs to the benzodiazepine class of depressants, which is extensively sold under brands including Klonopin, Xanax, and Valium.
Before her untimely demise, Enchanting—real name Channing Nicole Larry—was slated to serve as Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records’ First Lady.
Gucci shared an Instagram photo of Enchanting with the following caption: “Despairing.”
“So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady a true star we gone all miss you Chant 📷 📷”
She, signed with Gucci in 2020, was just 26 years old and was well on her way to stardom.
