Deion Sanders’ Colorado Gives $2,121 to Their Players With Children, Gets Praise From Cam Newton

Colorado Buffaloes Head Coach Deion Sanders has officially partnered with Elevations Credit Union to create “The 21 Program,” a project aimed at fostering financial literacy among his players, after actively searching for a bank to collaborate with since August 22.

During an episode of his program, 4th & 1, former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton discussed his thoughts on Sanders’ endeavor after witnessing Coach Prime’s attempts to develop his players and go above and beyond for them.

In honor of Sanders’ renowned jersey number 21, $2,121 will be deposited into the bank accounts of eight CU players’ offspring as part of Sanders’ initiative. Sanders is financing his players’ children’s futures financially through the Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) alliance.

Sanders invited eight players to go forward and take a seat in front of the team in a video that is making the rounds on X. The two-time SWAC Coach of the Year winner revealed the gift-529 savings plans, which are first set up with a sum of $2121 for their children, accompanied by a member of the NIL collective.

Sanders conveyed a valuable lesson about being a good father to a child and making plans for their future when revealing this plan.
