Guess Who Joe Rogan Considers To Be The “Complete Fighter”

Joe Rogan is among those who don’t agree with Dana White’s assertions that Jon Jones is the greatest of all time. He made some really disparaging remarks about Jon Jones, implying that he might not be the most accomplished fighter overall.

Joe Rogan is supporting a different outstanding champion over Jon Jones as the more complete fighter overall. Islam Makhachev, in his opinion, deserves such position. Makhachev, renowned for his incredible striking and grappling abilities, is currently in the spotlight and, in Rogan’s opinion, has surpassed even Jones. Rogan said,

“If you wanted to really think about who’s the most complete fighter, you gotta say like Max Holloway [or] Ilia Topuria, but Islam Makhachev you got to put at the top as the most complete. He could KO you with a head kick just like Jon Jones,”

What, then, has Rogan praising Makhachev? To begin with, Makhachev has had some truly amazing performances lately. The Dagestani fighter has demonstrated an amazing ability to switch up his style of fighting, combining strong strikes, unrelenting grappling, and a fierce heart.

Given that Jon Jones has long been regarded as one of the most accomplished fighters in UFC history, Rogan’s remarks seem a bit surprising. However, the UFC pundit thinks Makhachev might just pull ahead.
