Tom Brady, who has won seven Super Bowl titles in 23 seasons, has accomplished nearly everything an NFL quarterback can. When assessing the top three performers of Week 5 for Fox on Tuesday night, the legend acknowledged that there is one Lamar Jackson record that “he would have no chance to ever complete.”
Brady said that the Bengals vs Ravens game was a “incredible game,” with the Ravens rallying from a 10-point hole in the final six minutes. Lamar was ranked second on the list, behind Kirk Cousins.
Tom Brady Names One Lamar Jackson Record He Had “No Chance to Ever Complete” in the NFL
When talking about Lamar’s contribution, Brady referred back to the Ravens quarterback’s statistics analysis to provide the highest praise, stating: “Lamar’s been unbelievable this season. This is one record that I would have no chance to ever complete. He’s the first player in history to have 300 pass yards, 50 rush yards, and 4 touchdowns in multiple games.”
Brady gave Lamar a lot of credit, but he neglected to mention Joe Burrow, the quarterback for the Bengals, who also played a clutch game. Burrow finished 30-of-39 throwing for 392 yards and a career-high five touchdowns.
There are only three players on the list each week, so Brady had to omit Burrow. The NFL GOAT praised Kirk Cousins for masterminding the Falcons’ comeback victory over the Buccaneers, returning to the top three players of the week.
