Tonight, the Golden State Warriors are prepared to take on the Portland Trail Blazers in their season opening. Following a dismal 2023–24 campaign, the Warriors would like to move past the negative memories and enter the upcoming campaign with a new outlook. In an interview with SiriusXM NBA Radio, Draymond Green acknowledged that the Warriors camp is undergoing significant change.
The Dubs veteran used some intriguing language to explain how hard the camp is working to get back on track. According to Green, coaches are currently “annoying the hell out” of players, which is fantastic for the team since it indicates that everyone is hungry.
Green claimed to be rather happy with the level of intensity of the players’ practice sessions, despite using the word “annoying” to characterize what the coaches are forcing the players to accomplish. It shows that the group is preparing for battle and is aiming for triumph.

He also acknowledged that players are feeling fantastic about the environment in the camp when they leave practice since everyone is trying very hard to forget over the nightmare of the previous season. Green said : “Coaches are annoying right now and that to me is a sign of hunger. Like, they are annoying the hell out of us right now and I have zero problems admitting that.”
“But when you walk away from the annoyance, you say, ‘Man, this is great. This is amazing. They need to annoy us right now.’…That means they’re hungry too,”

The team has been impacted by their failure to qualify for the playoffs the previous season. More significantly, the Warriors can be confident enough to chase rings as long as Stephen Curry is with them for a few more solid years. Bay Area fans will therefore feel hopeful for a fresh start after hearing Green’s description of the current state of affairs in the Dubs camp.
