After disparaging basketball player LiAngelo Ball‘s career, Cam’ron initiated a verbal altercation with him. Ball’s playing abroad and lack of skill to succeed in the NBA like his siblings Lonzo and LaMelo have been ridiculed by Killa Cam in recent past days.
The Harlem native, who hosts the sports talk show It’s What It Is, recalled what Gelo’s brothers would say to him: “We tried, we did everything we could. We gotta tryout in China for you, that’s all we got” “He ain’t NBA good.”
LiAngelo Ball goes off on Cam’Ron
A former NBA development league and Summer League player who last played professionally in Mexico, LiAngelo swiftly retaliated on his own podcast, What an Experience, which he co-hosts with his brother Lonzo and buddies Anthony Salazar and DMO.
“All I remember from you is ‘Suck It Or Not’ with Lil Wayne,” he added to Cam. Since then, LiAngelo has responded by disparaging the Dipset legend’s rap career in an internet video.
He said : “Elder folks like to say a whole lot of nothing sometimes. I ain’t really got no problem with him. Cam’ron can hate me, I’ll wake up the same tomorrow. I’m really not tripping on none of that. At the end of the day, I’m good. Bro putting words in my mouth,” “I ain’t say ‘Suck It or Not’ the only song I heard or whatnot — that’s just the song that came to my mind. But anyways, since you wanna talk about all the rap shit and I’m not good and I’m not this and I’m not that, I’ve never talked to someone and you’ve been in [their] top five, top 10, bro. I’ve never heard your name in no rap convo.”
“We in the same boat, n-gga. I didn’t make the league and you ain’t in no top 10s. Y’all talking like Cam’ron the messiah … I grew up listening to 50 Cent and DMX, I don’t care if Cam’ron don’t like me.
“I don’t listen to no Cam’ron music. I don’t know you, bruh. I’m 25; you 50. You might not know my name now that I think about it!”
