After flaunting his amazing body prior to his bout with Jake Paul, Mike Tyson is now again looking like his former, toned self. On November 15, the heavyweight legend takes on YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul in a match that has drawn criticism for the 30-year age difference.
Additionally, Tyson’s well planned training montages have recently drawn criticism from fans. However, the 58-year-old flaunted his toned abs in a recent inside look at his training camp that was posted on Iron Mike’s YouTube account.
In front of Gene Kilroy, the former boxing manager of Muhammad Ali, Tyson also throws combinations on the bag in the video.
Having known Tyson since he was 13, Kilroy also made fun of the former champion during training more today than he did when he faced Lennox Lewis in 2002.
By making sparring film public, the reformed Baddest Man on the Planet also gave Paul a stern warning. He says, “I’m just getting started,” as he gives his sparring partner a hefty left hook in the video.
When Tyson was forced to cancel the original July 20 date, the already contentious fight came under more scrutiny. Despite having a stomach ulcer, he is now considered medically able to resume training. Along with Paul, Tyson must also go through pre-bout drug testing and further cardiac and brain exams prior to his fight.
