Delonte West Gets Arrested in Virginia Once More

After being accused of breaking and entering on November 2, former NBA star Delonte West was arrested once more, this time in Virginia, according to TMZ. According to the Fairfax County Police Department, West, 41, refused to leave a restricted location in Huntington, Virginia.

Before obtaining an arrest warrant, authorities used surveillance footage to confirm the report of the incident, which occurred one day earlier on November 1.

According to the Daily Mail, West was arrested and placed under $1,000 bail when police discovered him strolling close to the Huntington subway at around nine o’clock that day.

Delonte West getting arrested is quite habitual nowadays

After being charged with a misdemeanor, West was released on November 3 and is scheduled to appear in court in January.

Since the end of his career, West, who played for the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Dallas Mavericks in the NBA, has been dealing with a growing number of legal issues. Though he questioned the diagnosis, he was given a bipolar illness diagnosis in 2008.

During his eight-year NBA career, which concluded at the age of 28 following his only season with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011–2012, West earned over $16 million.

The arrest a few days ago is simply another chapter in West’s lengthy history of legal issues, as he has been repeatedly embroiled in a string of regrettable incidents since then.
