A Philadelphia man named Darnell Henry claims he got shot just for calling Paul Sanders’ dog skinny. Can you believe that? This crazy incident went down in the Strawberry Mansion hood on November 3, 2024.
Henry was just watching television outside his house on West Oakdale Street when his dog walked up to Paul, who was also with his dog. Now, Henry casually mentioned that Sanders’ dog looked like it needed some extra food and boom! All hell broke loose.
Next thing he knew, this confrontation blew up, and before he could even blink, Sanders had returned with 20-year-old Tanon Fitzpatrick where Henry caught a bullet in the shoulder. Like seriously? Over a dog comment? That’s messed up. People these days aren’t humans. You can’t be saying anything about anyone’s pets without risking your life.
Henry in disbelief, says;
“I’m like, ‘Yo, you shot me?’” “I could have died right there, like literally I could have died over a dog talk.” He spent five days in the hospital recovering from his injuries.
Sanders and Fitzpatrick have been arrested and facing several charges, including aggravated assault.
No one deserves to get shot just for speaking their mind about some skinny pooch. Maybe this incident will make people think twice about overreacting to harmless comments. I mean, it’s just a dog, right? But remember people are sensitive when it comes to their pets.
