There is some serious drama on our hands for the AFC Championship game! Kayla Nicole, the ex-girlfriend of Travis Kelce, is openly supporting the Buffalo Bills to beat her ex’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs. Talk about a juicy storyline!
Now, we all know that sports rivalries can get intense, but this one takes the cake. Kayla Nicole is not holding back in her support for the Bills, making it clear that she wants them to come out on top and show her ex some power. We can only imagine how awkward things are going to be for the Kelce-Nicole dynamic during this game.
But hey, who can blame Kayla? It’s always fun to see a little friendly competition between exes, especially when it comes to high-stakes football. We’ll just have to wait and see if the Bills can deliver and give Kayla the satisfaction she’s looking for. It’s going to be an exciting showdown!
During the latest installment of the “I Am Athlete Daily” podcast, former NFL wideout Brandon Marshall asked Kayla to weigh in on the matchup since she used to be a member of Chiefs Kingdom while dating Kansas City’s star tight end on and off from 2017 until 2022.
Kayla, 32, explained that Mahomes is “a student of the game” before she name-dropped her ex and said he knows how to protect the football.
“Then you got [Chiefs coach] Andy Reid, and I think his playbook is crazy. That’s a known fact about him. Their offense is OD, they have guys they can throw the ball to that’s not gonna drop it in the end zone. Travis Kelce — that’s a tight end that’s not gonna do it. They got the threats. So as much as I would love to see somebody else in the Super Bowl, just to see something new, it’s not gonna happen.”
When asked how she knows Mahomes, 29, is a student of the game, Kayla joked, “I don’t know… I know somebody on the inside.”
The “Special Forces” personality went on to say that she hopes Bills quarterback Josh Allen can lead his team to the Super Bowl because she’s bored of the Chiefs’ domination.
“As much as I’d love to see Josh pull it off, I don’t know if that’s gonna happen… [It’s] something new,” Kayla said when asked why she’s rooting for the Bills. “I’m bored.”
