19-year-old Alexis Hawkins’ boyfriend, Brian Winston, has gotten himself in some serious trouble. He’s been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of her date, Jarrell Pryor.
According to reports, Alexis planned a date with Jarrell, which ended tragically after Jarrell was shot and killed. It’s a crazy world out there!
According to Law & Crime, Hawkins coordinated the entire ordeal with her 18-year-old boyfriend, Brian Winston, who is accused of being the gunman.
According to the information obtained from Hawkins’ Instagram account, she was allegedly corresponding with her boyfriend, Winston, at the same time she was on a date with Pryor. Hours after the ambush, Hawkins allegedly googled “news today,” “news today near me,” and “shootings Keystone”.
Investigators also found the young girl reaching out to multiple people asking for a ride near the exact location where Pryor was murdered.
After being questioned by law enforcement on February 6, Hawkins stated she couldn’t remember that night, but reassured police that she did not have any weapons with her at the time of her date with Pryor, stating “no weapons to say I did anything. My fingerprints aren’t on anything”.
After being asked if her fingerprints would be found inside of Pryor’s vehicle, she responded by saying “There’s not going to be no weapon, though.” After investigators asked about comments she made to her boyfriend about making a “play”, she reportedly stopped cooperating and requested legal representation.
Pryor’s family has spoken out stating that the crime was senseless and emphasizing how the perpetrators got out nothing of the situation. Hawkins and her boyfriend have been arrested and they’re facing multiple charges, including felony murder, and robbery resulting in serious bodily injury.
Of course, we’ll have to wait and see how everything unfolds. Hopefully, justice will be served.
