Christina Formella, who is accused of sexual assault, allegedly wrote a lengthy message about the victim on her phone. The teacher from Illinois who is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old pupil allegedly wrote an angry “memoir” on the notes app on her phone about the alleged abuse.

According to authorities, Christina Formella, 30, a special education teacher from Downers Grove, Illinois, was taken into custody and charged with one act of criminal sexual assault against a juvenile and two charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
After the victim’s mother claimed to have discovered text exchanges between Formella and her son that described a sexual relationship, police detained Formella.
Shocking texts on Christina Formella’s phone detailing her abusing the 15-Yo
According to court documents previously acquired by PEOPLE, the student and the teacher—who was married and a soccer coach—allegedly exchanged sexual texts. The instructor strongly disputes this.
In response to the police presenting Formella with the allegedly discovered texts, she said the victim had stolen her phone during class, sent the messages to himself, and then erased them from her phone while keeping them on his for “blackmail.”
According to the court documents, she allegedly wrote in texts:
“I love having sex with you,”
“We will never ever be together again,” “I’m not a second choice. I’m the best thing you’ll ever have even with all of my mistakes.”
“In the meantime, I’m going to live my best life knowing he’s not the person I thought he was and that he is beneath me,”
The petition claims that when Formella was questioned about the notes on her phone, she claimed that they were merely a way for her to deal with her anxieties and that any mention of sexual activity was a reference to her spouse.
