The 38-year-old singer, who is expecting her third child with husband Alex Fine, made the announcement two weeks after she finished testifying for four days in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ criminal trial. The founder of Bad Boy Records has entered a not guilty plea to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
During her testimony, Ventura, a crucial prosecution witness, was eight and a half months pregnant and made a number of shocking claims regarding the events that transpired during her 11-year relationship with Combs.
Cassie and her young family keep growing
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, February 19, the soon-to-be mother of three initially revealed that she and her husband were expecting their third child.
She included black-and-white pictures of herself flaunting her baby bump with Fine, 32, and their two kids, Sunny, 3, and Frankie, 5, in the caption, writing, “🤰🏽💙 #3.”
The first picture that was released showed Ventura sitting on the back of a couch in pants and an open blouse over a crop top, exposing her baby bulge. Frankie and Sunny, her daughters, were sitting in front of her, grinning and dressed alike.
In a subsequent close-up, she was seen with her baby bulge while Fine’s hands held her tummy. The post also featured more pictures of the expectant celebrity sitting next to Fine while they posed with their daughters, as well as Sunny and Frankie kissing her growing baby tummy.
