Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion will be making their red carpet debuts. At the rapper’s first Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City on July 16, the 30-year-old “Hiss” hitmaker and 35-year-old four-time NBA champion appeared enamored.
The “WAP” collaborator told People magazine on the red carpet that: “I won’t tell you how and I won’t tell you when, but it was a movie that (Thompson is) the nicest person I’ve ever met in my life.”
The rapper told Page Six that she has “never dated somebody so kind,” adding that “this is my first relationship where I’ve ever been with somebody who’s genuinely a nice person, and he makes me genuinely happy.” The rapper and her NBA All-Star boyfriend wore matching black outfits.
She went on: “I’m just grateful that he’s here by my side and he feels the same way about me,”
When Thompson shared a series of pictures on July 13 that included a picture of him and the Houston rapper in a passionate hug, the game-changing duo went public over the weekend.
Another image later in the slideshow features their hands joined together, on the beach, with Megan’s baby pink acrylics and abalone shell jewelry next to Thomspon’s blue and gold Rolex.
The emojis in the post’s simple caption, “Sweet Bells son 🌴 🥥,” are undoubtedly a reference to the Bahamas, where the two seemed to be on vacation. Mychal Thompson, a former NBA player, is Thompson’s Bahamian father.
