According to all reports, it is inevitable that LeBron James, er, Luka Doncic, the star player for the Los Angeles Lakers, will sign a huge contract extension in a few days.
One of the numerous hosts on the five-time All-NBA First Team selection’s recent stop on his New York City press tour, the “Today” Show, asked him directly if the agreement was finalized.
With the worst poker face ever, Doncic said: “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” “I can’t discuss anything yet.”
Either a four-year, $229 million agreement or the more likely three-year, $165 million extension with a player option for the fourth year will likely be the massive extension.
“Big decision on Saturday… whether you sign that big contract extension [with the Lakers]. Any message for fans?”

Never one to settle for second place, King James has been flirting with descent over the summer. However, aside from spending time on a superyacht with Nikola Jokic’s agent or practicing his new middle-aged man addiction to golf, he has returned to training to prepare for the season.
Naturally, skinny Luka has been in the news all summer for his new, toned body, which was showcased this week in a Men’s Health article where he made drastic dietary and exercise changes.
