One women names Rachel Marie Warner has been arrested after she was caught on camera running out of a hotel room after allegedly swiping some guy’s $18k Rolex watch. Talk about bold moves!
Well, turns out she didn’t get away with it because she has been arrested shortly after. You can’t go around stealing expensive watches and think you won’t get caught!
Warner, who was visiting the Florida city from her home in Nevada, is accused of drugging and robbing multiple men she met at upscale Miami bars with her most recent heist being an $18,000 Rolex from her latest victim.
Footage that emerged this week shows Warner dashing into an elevator while barefoot with her heels in hand. Another camera captured Warner crossing the street outside just moments later, stilettoes now firmly on her feet.
Warner was arrested by Miami police on May 8 after the man reported he had been drugged and robbed.
The two allegedly met at Sugar, a trendy rooftop bar in the city’s financial district.
He told officers Warner had joined him for drinks and later accompanied him back to his hotel.
Footage from inside the elevator shows the pair heading to his room.
But according to the arrest report, the victim’s memory stops shortly after Warner prepared him a drink inside.
‘After consuming the drink, the victim stated he does not recall what transpired afterward,’ police said.
By the time he woke up, Warner, and his luxury Rolex, were both gone.
But detectives say the incident wasn’t Warner’s first rodeo.
Looks like Rachel Marie Warner is in hot water now. Let this be a lesson – crime doesn’t pay, folks!
