Jaden Ivey Trashes Bulls, NBA, LeBron James & Steph Curry After Being Released Over Anti-LGBTQ Comments

In today’s episode of “How to Burn Every Bridge in Record Time,” Jaden Ivey apparently woke up and chose chaos, then doubled down on it.

Fresh off being shown the door, Ivey didn’t just quietly disappear into the offseason like most players would. He grabbed a microphone, real or imaginary, and started firing shots like it was the NBA Finals.

First target? The Chicago Bulls. Ivey then turned his attention to the entire National Basketball Association. Yes, the whole league. And then came the real fireworks.

He decided to name-drop some of the biggest names in basketball history. You know, light work. Just casually going after Stephen Curry, LeBron James, and Michael Jordan.

‘They said your conduct is detrimental to the team,’ Ivey said in the self-shot Instagram clip as boarding announcements can be heard in the background. ‘I haven’t been with the team. I haven’t been with the team because I’ve been rehabbing [my knee injury].

‘So how’s my conduct detrimental to the team?’

He also predicted he would go unsigned as an NBA free agent: ‘They gonna cancel me, bro, I’m telling you. They don’t want this… God is faithful.’

Unprompted, Ivey turned his frustration to Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, whom he said has ‘not surrendered.’

‘And y’all believe he’s a Christian?’ Ivey asked. ‘This stuff is not gonna matter on Judgment Day, all them rings he got, all them rings LeBron [James] got, all the rings Michael Jordan got.’

Ivey went on to downplay the importance of the NBA in his life, saying he is prepared to move on without the league.

As Ivey explained, he felt he was a sinner when he entered the league in 2022 as the fifth-overall pick of that year’s NBA Draft.

‘Before I came to the Lord Jesus Christ, the NBA was everything to me,’ he said. ‘I didn’t know God. I didn’t know Jesus. When I came to the NBA, I was a fornicator, I was a pornography addict, and I used to get drunk. That’s all I knew. And after a win, I felt good.

‘Lord willing, he gives me, he gives me an opportunity to play again.’

The anti-LGBTQ comments that led to his release are already a major issue. That alone put him in a tough and bad spot. But instead of damage control, apologies, or even just silence, he chose the “go nuclear” route.

And now? Well, let’s just say NBA front offices are probably watching this whole situation and deciding on the next necessary actions against him.

At the end of the day, talent matters, but so does attitude. And right now, Jaden Ivey has gone haywire on everyone that matters in the league.
