The Buccaneers’ original 53-man roster will not include Shilo Sanders. Numerous reports state that Sanders was dismissed by Tampa Bay on Sunday morning, one day after he was sent off the field for punching the Bills during the preseason finale.
As an undrafted safety out of Colorado, Sanders, the eldest son of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, always had a remote chance of joining the Bucs. However, his expulsion might have guaranteed that result.

Sanders’ punch was deemed “inexcusable” by head coach Todd Bowles. By Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET, rosters must be trimmed to 53 players.
