As Taylor Swift evolves into the quintessential showgirl, she is a difficult act to follow. The 35-year-old Shake It Off singer adorned her upcoming album’s third cover with feathery headpieces and underwear adorned with jewels.
Taylor appears to be an authentic Las Vegas showgirl in the sultry picture. On October 3, she is shown leaning against a wall while wearing a leotard in another album shot.
According to Taylor, who wrote the album while on her Eras Tour:
“I’m so proud of it.
“It comes from the most joyful place in my life.”
The stunning images were captured by photographers Marcus Piggott and Mert Alas, who also created the cover art for Taylor’s 2017 album Reputation.
Taylor went on to say that she is “so proud” of her most recent album and “wanted to go all out” for it. Before the album’s fall release, fans can place preorders for it now.
