Bryce Anderson Admitted to the Hospital After Experiencing Limb Pain

After being transported to a nearby hospital after a play that rendered him immobile late in the first half against Notre Dame, Texas A&M safety Bryce Anderson is able to feel in his limbs.

“We’re still praying for Bryce,” coach Mike Elko told reporters following the Aggies‘ 41–40 victory over the Fighting Irish. Right now, everything is going well. We haven’t, I believe, performed every diagnostic test. However, the tests we’ve conducted so far have yielded positive results. We’re going to keep praying for a successful outcome.”

With 55 seconds remaining in the half, Anderson was carried to the locker room.

On a 25-yard completion, his head struck Notre Dame tight end Eli Raridon. Medical staff were called in right away by teammates, and they stabilized Anderson’s neck for roughly ten minutes. As he walked off the field, the Beaumont, Texas, senior offered a thumbs up.

Several players approached Anderson before he left, while Texas A&M players knelt on the field after coming off the bench.

In the win, Anderson recorded four tackles.
