Kayla Nicole Argues She Can’t Be Canceled Even After Travis Kelce Proposed to Taylor Swift

After receiving constant criticism for openly talking about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Travis Kelce, Kayla Nicole is defending her right to “rehash bulls–t.”

In a recent episode of her podcast, “The Pre-Game,” the 33-year-old sports writer responded to her detractors once more. In the program that aired last Friday, Nicole gave special guest Heather Sanders the following explanation:

“For me, I don’t fear necessarily being canceled because I don’t think people hold that power,”

Despite their opinions of her, Nicole stated that she thinks God has a purpose for her and that haters “can’t change the trajectory” of her life. She acknowledged: “However, I’m sensitive. I am triggered,” “I want to clear my name. I want to address it.”

Nicole claimed that she “never did” confront the issue and “chickened out” in the hopes that it would “just blow over,” without mentioning any specific problem.

Nicole continued by saying that instead of merely talking about her experiences, many assume she is doing it to get attention when she does address issues.

She stated: “That’s my fear, too, is when I address things, instead of me talking about lived experience, people think it’s just me constantly trying to rehash bulls–t,”

“When in reality, I’m just a human who wants to talk about my life.”

In the past, Nicole has justified her candid remarks regarding her relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, whom she dated from 2017 until May 2022.
