Molly Qerim Shockingly Announces Her Departure From First Take

In a shocking announcement, Molly Qerim said she was leaving First Take. Joining the organization in 2006, the ESPN personality has been involved with the popular show since 2015.

During her tenure on First Take, Qerim swiftly gained popularity among fans. Additionally, the ace is among the most well-respected NFL and NBA presenters in the world. ESPN has extended her tenure by offering her a new contract.

After more than ten years, Qerim has officially announced that she will be quitting the show. In response to rumors that she was leaving, she confirmed on social media that she would be moving on.

Qerim will continue hosting First Take for the rest of the year. In 2026, she will then pursue other opportunities.

Qerim stated: “Now that the news came out earlier than I intended, and not in the way I hoped.

“Every morning, I had the privilege of sharing the desk with some of the most brilliant, passionate and entertaining voices in sports — and with all of you, the best fans in the world.

“I’m so grateful for what this journey has given me: lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and the chance to be part of something truly special.

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you for welcoming me into your homes.
