Drake Sends a 3-Word Message Before the Dodgers and Blue Jays World Series

The Toronto Blue Jays, Drake‘s hometown team, progressed to the World Series to face the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Drake shared a little message on social media.

When he rented Dodger Stadium for a date in 2021, he posted a picture of himself there. The music “OK Blue Jays” is included in the post, which has the description “World Series Bound.”

Drake has long been associated with the Toronto Raptors of the NBA and the city’s sports culture. Often spotted courtside at games, the rapper was designated the Raptors’ Global Ambassador in 2013.

Following his acceptance of the position, he expressed his enthusiasm for the city and the significance of both the Toronto basketball club and the city.

Given their game against the Dodgers, Drake’s baseball team’s participation in the Fall Classic seems to add another level of drama.

Last year, Drake and Kendrick Lamar, a rapper from Los Angeles, got into a public dispute. One of the songs that came out of the feud was “Not Like Us,” which LA has adopted as a rallying cry at Dodgers home games.

There are more significant ramifications for the ballclubs even if Lamar, who was raised in Los Angeles, and his Dodgers are playing Drake and his Blue Jays.
