In Divorce Documents, Tyreek Hill Is Charged With Many Counts of Physical Violence

According to court documents from the couple’s divorce procedures that the Miami Herald was able to get, Tyreek Hill, a receiver for the Miami Dolphins, was involved in eight instances with his wife in which violence was charged.

At the Herald’s and other South Florida media outlets’ request, Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Spencer Multack opened the records on October 7. The action came after information regarding Hill and his wife Lakeeta Vaccaro’s divorce procedures was made public on the website TMZ last month.

After having surgery to replace the ligaments in his left knee, Hill will miss the season.

After Vaccaro’s mother phoned Sunny Isles police to their apartment in April, claiming that Hill was becoming “very aggressive and impulsive” toward Vaccaro, Vaccaro filed for divorce. Vaccaro said in an emergency request submitted to the Miami-Dade Circuit Court that Hill had treated her in a “abusive” way.

The petition describes a marriage that appeared troubled from the start. Vaccaro, the sister of former NFL player Kenny Vaccaro, alleges that Hill used physical aggression on a regular basis. She claims that he threw her to the ground, twisted her body, tore out her hair, and spat in her face.

She even claims that he abused her the day before she gave birth and during her pregnancy.

Serious troubles were also brought on by money. According to the petition, a few weeks after their wedding, Hill pressed for a postnuptial arrangement. He became “increasingly aggressive,” according to Vaccaro, and threatened to dissolve the marriage if she didn’t sign. In January, during a dispute over the agreement, Hill allegedly shoved her and flung her possessions, intensifying the conflict.

Well, this had pottential to get ugly. Now, it officially has turned ugly.
