In an attempt to find a new starting quarterback before their game against the Vikings on Sunday, the Browns benched Joe Flacco in favor of youngster Dillon Gabriel this week.
Following the switch, Shedeur Sanders, another rookie who will continue to be the team’s third-string quarterback, was interviewed in the locker room. But Shedeur chose to remain silent. Instead, when reporters questioned him, he grinned.

Shedeur’s silent interview was a reaction to Rex Ryan’s negative remarks about him on ESPN’s Get Up, according to a statement posted on Instagram by Well Off, a brand and media company owned by Shedeur’s brother, Deion Sanders Jr.
