In a salacious tell-all, Eric Adams’ ex-girlfriend Jasmine Ray revealed brutally personal details about her covert connection with the mayor, including how she soothed him by massaging a scar on his head. In her memoir, “Political Humanity,” which will be published on Sunday, Ray, 42, wrote:
“In our closest moments, I would rub the back of Eric’s head, where his old surgery scar left him vulnerable,”
“He could sit still for hours if I kept my hand there, as if my touch eased something no one else could reach.”
Ray, who claimed to still be close to the mayor and to have dated Adams from 2014 to 2016, described their brief affair, which began when she saw the then-borough president of Brooklyn wearing a “Mr. Rogers sweater” at Barclays Center. Soon after, the two went for a stroll down the Promenade in Brooklyn Heights, where Adams asked her pointed questions that revealed a similar understanding of the “purpose of life. She said:
“I blurted out the first thing that came to mind: ‘To procreate,’” Ray wrote, detailing Adams’ shock.
“That was exactly how he felt, too.”
“Minutes later, I laid down,” “He did too—fully clothed, not a belt undone. He placed his head on my chest and instantly passed out. And somehow, in the quiet of that room, fully clothed, it was one of the most intimate experiences of my life.”
Well, we have seen this story far too many times. An affair leading up to some scandalous interview or a book. Time will tell, when or if Eric Adams responds to these stories.
