.On Friday, hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was found guilty of prostitution-related charges involving his two ex-girlfriends and given a sentence of slightly over four years in jail.
Prosecutors sought 11 years, noting Combs’ history of domestic abuse, but Combs’ lawyers asked for a 14-month term, claiming their client is reformed after serving 13 months in a New York jail.

Prosecutors told the court about Combs’ maltreatment, defense lawyers described him as inspirational, Combs himself apologized, and several of his children, some of whom were crying aloud, testified.
Diddy’s appeal to Judge and his lawyers statement
Judge Arun Subramanian ultimately stated that a substantial sentence was necessary to serve as a deterrent and to convey a message. Combs spoke in front of the court for the first time since the trial started before the judge handed down the 50-month sentence.
Combs expressed regret to his victims, mentioning his two ex-girlfriends, Casandra Ventura and “Jane,” who provided testimony using a false identity.
He stated: “My actions were disgusting, shameful, and sick,”. “I got lost in excess, I got lost in my ego.”
“I’m so sorry. They deserved better,”
“I ask your honour for mercy. Yeah. beg your honour for mercy,”.
“I don’t have nobody to blame but myself. I know that I’ve learned my lesson.”
He pleaded with the judge for another opportunity, vowing never to endanger his family time ever again. His legal team went in detail about fighting again and how the 50 months sentence is harsh. Check out the clip below.
