Sydney Sweeney transformed from a tough boxer to a delicate Barbie for the film’s red carpet event on Friday. Check out her outfit: she wore a soft pink, sheer lace dress featuring a flowing skirt and a sequined neckline in London.
While portraying the fiercely strong fighter Christy Martin in the film, Sydney showcased her sweet side at the premiere by taking selfies with fans. Inside the venue, she graciously shared the spotlight with her collaborators in front of the audience at the BFI London Film Festival.
Set to be released on November 7, the film tells the story of Christy’s journey to becoming the most recognized female boxer in America during the 1990s, as well as her husband’s attempted murder of her in 2010.
It’s currently garnering favorable critiques, boasting a 71% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The cast also includes Ben Foster and Merritt Wever.
