After the Lions’ humbling 30–17 loss to the Chiefs, Brian Branch apparently decided to go straight into Mortal Kombat mode.
A viral video shows Branch hitting JuJu Smith-Schuster like it was personal during the brutal brawl.
The brawl started moments after Patrick Mahomes took a knee to close out the Chiefs’ 30-17 home win over the Lions. The fight began with Brian Branch punching JuJu Smith-Schuster, who was visibly bleeding on his way to the locker room.
A new video from KCTV5 shows the heated fight between Branch and Smith-Schuster. The camera worker showed no fear here by really getting close up into the brawl.
Branch and Smith-Schuster will likely get fined for the incident, but we’ll see if any suspensions follow. Per ESPN, Brian Branch finished the day with seven tackles, while Smith-Schuster caught three passes for 57 yards.
One thing’s clear: Brian Branch didn’t just bring the heat—he brought chaos and better hope he’s not found wanting after the NFL reviews the tape.
