Jania Meshell has responded to Dejounte Murray’s claims of prioritizing club life over family life.
Looks like the drama mill is back open, and this time it’s starring Jania Meshell and her baby daddy, NBA star Dejounte Murray. The internet’s favorite on and off duo are beefing again, and it’s getting messier than a spilled cocktail in a VIP lounge.
It all started when Murray decided to air some very personal business online, claiming that Jania cares more about being in the club than being a mom. Yes, he said it.
Well, Jania wasn’t about to let that slide. She hopped on her IG status and fired back to clear her name.
“You wouldn’t be mad if you were living and got a family with a person that you’ve been asking for years to be real about what they want, and they say a family and not to be in clubs anymore because it’s old?”
According to Dejounte;
Jania told him she was in Houston for work and family but instead went out to the club. Murray also said he’s been supportive behind the scenes, helping her create content, go back to school, and open salons — even claiming he’s been covering expenses “without asking for a thing in return.”
According to him, the issue isn’t about control but about priorities, and he believes he’s done his best to hold her down despite the “lies and drama” that came with their relationship.
Jania didn’t back down, she hopped on her Instagram Story again and in series of posts, accused Murray of being a hypocrite.
“I just find it funny how I am all of this, but it was ok for you to move to Vegas from April to September and have me and my kids on a plane Friday and Sunday just to come visit you because you decided you didn’t like New Orleans and did not want to train there. If it wasn’t for my grandmother coming to help me in New Orleans, I don’t know where my mental health would be. Mind you, I had both kids because I mean, when have you ever had Ice by yourself fr, and she’s 2. So please don’t talk about parenting, because we both know the real.”
In another emotional post, she said;
“I literally cried at dinner telling you how I felt, and did you care? No! And I also told you that night that you were a narcissist, remember? Please just keep it cool because you feel like you can drop stuff, but so can I.”
And as most woman claim when a relationship goes south, Jania reminded Murray how she stood by him when things were difficult.
“I was there supporting you at every game, every event; anything dealing with you, I was right there when nobody else was. I can’t change what happened to you as a child. I know it hurts you, but I was left trying to pick up the pieces because, believe it or not, I actually loved you.”
Fans quickly picked sides. Team Jania praised her for standing up for herself, calling out Murray. Team Dejounte, on the other hand, said she’s doing too much for Instagram.
Let’s be honest, this isn’t the first time these two have gone back and forth. Their relationship has more ups and downs than an NBA season. One week, they’re co-parenting goals. The next, they’re throwing shades everywhere.
Flip the pages for thirst traps of Jania.
