Kayla Nicole is adamant that her Halloween costume was not a subtle jab at Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, claiming that she is “not in the business of tearing other women down” and that she was merely paying tribute to legends.
The well-known former partner of the Kansas City Chiefs star went on her “Pre-Game” podcast to discuss the Toni Braxton outfit and dance routine she shared on Instagram last month. Many people took it as a jab at “Tayvis” because she recreated the singer’s “He Wasn’t Man Enough” music video.
Naturally, there are a few phrases in the song that people interpret as a message to Swift today.

The host, influencer, and model is criticizing the entire conversation, saying it was just an homage. and the stories that were being presented had no basis in fact.
“For me, this moment was about celebrating an icon in my culture. Someone that I have listened to since I was very, very young — whether it was in the car with my mother, whether it was me in high school stealing my mom’s CDs … playing it in my whip on the way to high school.”
“Shoutout Toni Braxton. You guys, she commented on my post … and I feel like that in itself, I feel like I won Halloween.”
Kayla has a history of using her Halloween attire to convey a message. In retaliation for Iman Shumpert dumping her for the singer/actress, she dressed herself as Teyana Taylor.
Nicole had to delete her Twitter after Swifties found some old unflattering Tweets.
