A’ja Wilson, a four-time WNBA MVP, is talking candidly about her relationship with NBA player Bam Adebayo and their future intentions to have kids!
Wilson, 29, discussed her “life partner” Adebayo, 28, in her Time Athlete of the Year cover story, which was released on Tuesday, December 9. Wilson told the magazine that he has “impacted” her life so dramatically that she asks, “Honestly, what on earth was my world before you?”
The Las Vegas Aces star stated that they plan to start a family as she thought back on their relationship, which Wilson also disclosed started four years ago, long before fans started to believe the two were together last summer.
Wilson said, “Adebayo is also very close with her parents,” to Time. Wilson made a joke about how her mother Eva occasionally texts back when her father Roscoe calls to beg for Adebayo:
“Honestly, what on earth was my world before you?” “That is always a dream,”
“Y’all will know, because people are nosy and they’ll look at her hands. There you go.”
Wilson laughed, “That’s the question I need you to deliver to him!” when the Time reporter informed her that her former college coach Dawn Staley had asked when the couple planned to tie the knot.
However, it appears that the Miami Heat player is already considering it. Adebayo responded, “Y’all will know, because people are nosy and they’ll look at her hands,” when Time asked him when. There you have it.
