Kevin Garnett has dropped an expośe on the wild things that go on at the Olympic Village.
Kevin Garnett has seen a lot in his life. Trash talk, elbows and playoff chaos. But nothing prepared him for what he claims went down at the Olympic Village. According to KG, 10,000 condoms disappeared in seconds. Not days, not hours, seconds! Like a magic trick. Poof. Gone.
KG recently told the story with the seriousness of a man who still can’t believe what he witnessed.

“We’re going in here, everybody hitting the table. Some small dude, you can’t even see him. He got a trash can. He walking, he walking. Finally, he gets to this big old bowl on the table. You don’t even know this is a bowl. The man dumps about 10,000 condoms in the middle of the thing. And then, as he gets out of the way, you can’t even see him no more because after about 30 seconds, it’s not a condom left in the bowl.”
Security in the area would soon get the players out of the area. They did not want them around because of their influence. “It cracked so hard, security got us out of there. It’s like, ‘No, you’ve got to get y’all out of here,” Garnett recalled. And they don’t let NBA players in the village because they’re so influential. They got us out of there so fast. I’m talking about NBA security.”
In the end, the story is less shocking and more hilarious. Ten thousand condoms didn’t vanish. They were drafted, signed and immediately put into rotation. No injuries reported. No fouls called.
So thank you, KG, for the visual nobody asked for but everyone laughed at. The Olympics are about unity, excellence, and apparently cardio.
