In a stunning reversal less than 24 hours after the story broke, Sorety took to social media Saturday to retract the claims published by OutKick and the New York Post. She alleged that a “disgruntled ex-assistant” was responsible for communicating with the outlets and inventing the story about the hotel encounter following the 2024 national championship game.
