The former partner of boxing champion Devin Haney is asking a court to modify their custody agreement so she can post photos of their young daughter on social media without needing Haney’s approval, according to court filings obtained by TMZ Sports.
In a petition filed this week, Leena Sayed — the mother of Haney’s 1-year-old daughter, Khrome — is seeking changes to an October 2025 custody order requiring both parents’ written consent before any images of the child can be published online. Sayed argues that Haney has been overly restrictive, leaving her unable to share everyday moments with friends, family and followers.
In one example included in the court paperwork, Sayed said she requested permission to post a photo of herself and the child in matching pajamas, only to be told it was not allowed. She is asking the judge to remove or loosen the existing consent requirement and give her greater autonomy over what she posts.
The custody dispute comes amid broader legal tensions between Haney and Sayed. In recent months, the couple’s relationship has played out in court, including claims of restraining orders and lawsuits unrelated to the current social media request. A judge previously granted Sayed a temporary restraining order against Haney following allegations of abuse and other disputes. Sayed admitted she lied about that when Haney sued her for defamation and extortion, and both sides are scheduled to appear at a hearing later this month.
Haney, a former undisputed lightweight world champion, has not publicly commented on the latest filing, and representatives for both parties did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Family law experts say high-profile parents increasingly clash over how and whether to share images of children on social platforms, raising questions about privacy, digital footprints and consent in the social media age.
A hearing on the requested changes is scheduled later this month in Los Angeles County family court.
