Video of Quinshon Judkins Season Ending Leg Injury

Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins was carted off the field with a right lower leg injury in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills, casting a shadow over what had been a promising debut season for the second-round draft pick.

The injury occurred when Judkins caught a short pass from quarterback Shedeur Sanders near the line of scrimmage. Bills linebacker Matt Milano delivered a low tackle, causing Judkins’ right leg to twist awkwardly as he fell to the turf. Judkins immediately punched the ground in frustration and remained down, drawing trainers and teammates from both sides. An air cast was applied to his leg before he was loaded onto a cart and taken to the locker room.

The CBS broadcast declined to show a replay of the play, a common practice for particularly graphic injuries. Browns officials announced shortly after that Judkins had been ruled out for the remainder of the game with a lower leg injury. No further details on the severity were immediately available, but speculation among observers pointed to a possible knee dislocation or ligament damage, similar to the devastating knee injury suffered by former Browns running back Nick Chubb on the same field in 2023.

Prior to the injury, Judkins had been a bright spot for the struggling Browns (3-11), who were trailing 20-10 at the time. He accumulated over 50 yards from scrimmage, including several key receptions, showcasing the power and vision that made him a standout prospect. With only two weeks left in the regular season, the injury could mark an abrupt end to Judkins’ rookie campaign.

In his first NFL season, Judkins has contributed to one of the league’s most productive rookie classes, providing a spark to the Browns’ offense amid a challenging year. He entered Sunday’s game with 805 rushing yards, highlighting his role as a workhorse back. His absence leaves Cleveland relying on backups Raheim “Rocket” Sanders and Trayveon Williams to carry the load.
