Fans got concerned after Lamar Odom was spotted at a Vegas bar following his DUI arrest.
Lamar Odom knows how to make headlines even when he probably shouldn’t. Over the weekend, the former NBA player was spotted at a Las Vegas bar, and fans immediately raised their eyebrows. Not because it was Vegas, not because it was a bar but because this sighting came right after his DUI arrest.
Yes, timing matters and this timing was loud.
Odom was seen Saturday night at C3 Lounge in Las Vegas. Photos and videos started floating online. Phones came out, social media did what social media always does. Panic, opinions, and think pieces followed.
Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband was seen at C3 Lounge, located just off the city’s iconic Strip, on Saturday night.
Odom, 46, looked to be having a relaxed evening as he promoted and endorsed his new ‘Odom 7’ drink.
It comes just days after Odom denied being under the influence of drugs or alcohol when he was arrested in Vegas on January 17 – despite police claiming he admitted to smoking Marijuana earlier that day.
The two-time NBA champion was detained by police on suspicion of DUI and driving more than 100mph.
On Tuesday, Odom spoke out about his arrest, insisting he had not drunk or taken narcotics when he was arrested. In an interview with TMZ, he did not specify what was in his system.
But later on Tuesday, it was reported that cops found the 46-year-old with bloodshot eyes, while his car had an ‘overwhelming odor of Marijuana.’
At the end of the day, fans want Lamar healthy and safe. That’s the real concern. Not the bar, not the photos and not the jokes.
People just want to see him win, preferably without another headline that starts with “fans concerned.”
Because everyone agrees on one thing, Lamar Odom has already survived too much to be playing with bad decisions again.
