The longtime sports host set the socials on fire after sharing his thoughts on the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti by federal agents. And he didn’t stop there. Broussard also took aim at Democrats for their transgender rights stance.
Broussard didn’t ease into the topic. He came in hot. His message was blunt.
If u can’t clearly & boldly state the craziness of Democrats being unable to define what a woman is & saying men can get pregnant, AND the madness of Republicans defending the murder of Alex Pretti, then you’re following a political party/ideology & not The Lord Jesus Christ.

But his take did not go down well with some of his followers, who quickly replied to vent their fury. Others, however, wholeheartedly agreed with Broussard’s view.
One replied: ‘Absolutely unhinged correlation here. Come get your boy @getnickwright’.
But somebody in agreement commented: ‘Exactly Chris! Thank you for this!’
Pretti, 37, was killed by a Border Patrol agent during a targeted immigration enforcement operation in the Minnesota city early Saturday morning.
The ICU nurse was armed with a loaded Sig Sauer P320 9mm pistol – which he had a legal permit to carry – when he allegedly tried to stop agents from detaining a woman.
Some fans applauded his courage but one thing is certain, Broussard got exactly what the internet gives best. Attention?
In the end, his comments sparked outrage, debate, and endless reposts. Love him or hate him, he succeeded at one thing, he made sure everyone was talking about the gruesome murder.
And in today’s media world, that’s the loudest win of all.
