Influencer Alix Earle opened up about an emotional and awkward reunion with her ex-boyfriend, NFL wide receiver Braxton Berrios, during a recent music festival in Aspen, Colorado, amid ongoing rumors of a casual connection with retired quarterback Tom Brady.
Earle, 25, detailed the encounter in a candid TikTok video posted Feb. 25, describing it as her first time seeing Berrios, 30, since October — months after their breakup was confirmed in December following more than two years of dating.
“It was honestly just really hard for me — really weird, really hard. I was really emotional,” Earle said in the clip, captioned “Wednesday chat.”
She explained that on the first night at the Palm Tree Music Festival, the two were in the same venue but avoided greeting each other. “I didn’t want to go up and annoy him,” Earle said, noting she could see him from the corner of her eye.
The pair briefly exchanged hellos the following night, but Earle called the overall experience difficult.
“It’s weird when you go from someone being like your best friend to being a stranger in the corner of the room,” she said. “So that was tough, and by tough I mean terrible.”
The Houston Texans player and the social media star — known for her “Hot Mess” podcast and “Dancing with the Stars” appearance — ended their relationship late last year.
